Patricia "Pat" Rushton

Patricia Rushton “Pat” - Age 73, passed away peacefully December 5, 2021, after a brief but courageous fight with cancer. Married to her life-long love, Michael (Mick) Rushton for 52 years; Pat & Mick lived in both England & Alberta; finally settling in Bracebridge, Ontario. Pat had an incredible quality to her that made people love her and thus she had a trail of friends across the globe for whom her loss will be profoundly felt.

Pat was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. She especially loved her role as Grandma. She loved to cook, kept an immaculate house, was highly skilled with knitting needles – you knew you were in her good graces if you got a pair of her famous knitted socks!

Cherished mother of Paul (Niki), and Becky (Bill). Loving grandmother of Michael; Matthew; Abby and Thomas.

In keeping with Pat’s wishes, cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to South Muskoka Hospital Foundation https://www.healthmuskoka.ca/ in Bracebridge, and may be arranged through Reynolds Funeral Home.
