Michael Comission

On Sunday, February 7th, 2021 Michael passed away at the South Muskoka Memorial Hospital in Bracebridge. Michael is at peace now and will be laid to rest with his late father Michael (Senior) and brother Paul. Michael is survived by his mother, Pearl who spent her life helping him cope with the struggles of mental illness. Despite the challenges he faced, Michael cared greatly for his family and friends within the community of Port Carling. He will be deeply missed by his nephews Chris (Lea) and Andrew (Amanda) Comission, Sister-in-Law Michael-Anne (nee MacDonald), his cousins Peter and Dana and the Hradowy family, Ginger and Don, Madeleine and Patrick. Mike also adored his great nieces Lauren and Cali, daughters of Chris (Lea). The family would like to extend their gratitude to his chauffeur/coffee pals Debbie and Spencer from MuskoKAB, Lindsay at the Apothecary Shop, the staff at Foodland, Scotia Bank and the Port Carling Health Hub. Mike often spoke of ALL the amazing people from the community who helped him in his daily routines and for this WE THANK YOU. His memorial service will be held at the Glen Orchard Cemetery in the spring of 2021.
