Lucinda "Cindy" Brown

Cindy passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 4, 2021. Beloved wife of Phil Brown. Loving mother of Ryan and his wife Ainsley, Jared and his wife Deborah and Macaela and her husband Tyler. Cindy was the proud grandmother to Abbey, Mackenzie, Cooper, Madeleine, Emily, Leah, Carter and Blake. Dear sister to Peter Campbell and Maureen Pysklywec, predeceased by siblings Sarah Lambert, Janet Stadelbauer, Margaret Manning, Rosemary Campbell, John Campbell, Catherine McGillivray and Deborah Campbell.

Cindy was a wonderful primary school teacher and left a lasting impact on her students and peers. Her creativity, artistic flare and genuine love for teaching is what set her apart. She was selfless, compassionate, caring and found joy in showing love for others. She had an easy way about her where those in her life were always made to feel comfortable and special in her presence. She loved to laugh and never took herself too seriously. This endearing quality drew people closer to her. Cindy and her husband Phil were married for 51 years and were high school sweethearts. They were the best of friends with complete devotion and love for one another. They were true partners and built a wonderful life together by supporting one another through many life experiences. Their love was one of kind.

She was very proud of “her boys”, sons Ryan and Jared and she shared a deep and extraordinary bond with her daughter Macaela. Her Grandchildren were her absolute pride and joy. She had a very special way of caring for each of them and found ways to take the simple experiences in life and turn them into lasting memories. Family and friends were very important to her and she enjoyed spending time with them at her cottage in Muskoka.

Cindy was remarkable and will be dearly missed by all.
