Frederick 'Butch' Bailey

Passed away peacefully at the South Muskoka Memorial Hospital in Bracebridge, Ontario following a brief illness. Beloved husband of Irene (nee Smith). Loving father of Wendy (John), Fred (Jennifer) and Tammy. Cherished grandfather of Daniel and Aiden. Fred was predeceased by his parents John and Thelma Bailey, and his brothers Walter and Larry. He is survived by his sister Lynn (d. Ron) and his brothers Ted (Sandy) and David (Ruby). He will be lovingly remembered by his nieces, nephews and many friends.

Fred was a long-time employee of the District of Muskoka in a position upon which he was so very proud.

A sincere and special thank you to Dr. Gleeson and the wonderful nurses of South Muskoka Memorial Hospital who provided such good care and compassion during a difficult time.

In keeping with Fred’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be a Celebration of Life at a later date.
