Dr. Katherine 'Kay' Cross

Kay, in her 96th year, died peacefully on October 1st, 2021, surrounded by her cherished family. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Bert, and is survived by her children; Liz (Mel), Rob, Peter (Kelly), and her treasured grandson, Ryan.

Kay was so grateful to family and friends who made her life happy and fulfilling and was very appreciative of all the compassionate care she received from: Dr. Phillips, Dr. Kappos, and the staff at Castle Peak.

Kay appreciated the available and caring services of the MAID team. In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service will be arranged.

Kay always believed in charitable giving. Every day she demonstrated kindness, gentleness and lived by the Golden Rule. In memory of Kay, a kind act towards a friend or stranger would be regarded as a loving tribute.
