Douglas Noble

July 23, 1946 — January 2, 2021

Bracebridge, Ontario

We are saddened to announce the passing of Doug Noble, who crossed over peacefully in his sleep, with two of his children by his side. Survived by his wife Frances Noble. Loving father of Nathan (Jennifer), Lindsay (Adam), and Stacey. Proud grandfather of Adelaide, Raven, and Todd. Much loved brother to Diane (Bill).

Doug was born in Verdun, Quebec to Victor and Iris on July 23rd, 1946. He started his career with the Royal Bank at the age of 23, after completing his M.B.A. from the University of Sir George Williams. Being the committed man he was, Doug worked for the Royal Bank until his official retirement in 2005, and then continued to work for the bank until 2013. Doug will be remembered for his dedication to his children, his health, and the endless hockey practices, baseball tournaments, and camping trips. He was a strong believer in having good health, having ran the Montreal Marathon, and having been a member of the YMCA where he could be found daily. Doug also enjoyed spending 13 of his winters in Florida, with Fran where he made many friends.

Doug was loved by everyone that knew him and will be remembered as a funny, kind, charming gentleman – a hard worker, a hockey dad, and a family man.

A private service will be held in Celebration of Doug’s life on Thursday, January 7th, 2021 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Reynolds Funeral Home.

Please note the streaming service for Douglas' service will be available to log in at 10:50 am.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society https://alzheimer.ca/muskoka/ would be appreciated.
