SHANNON, William Hargrave Passed away peacefully in his sleep, on Saturday, August 27, 2011 at the South Muskoka Memorial Hospital, in Bracebridge, in his 90th year. William, a veteran of World War II and a member of the 48th Highlanders, was predeceased by his first wife Annabelle Shannon and second wife Marian Brown. He is survived by his children David, Robert, Elizabeth & Rosemary. He is the proud grandfather of Shannon, Matthew, Caledonia, Kari, Alberta, Colin, William, Zoe Brown, and Sarah Reynolds and great grandfather of Ben, Jack & Zach. Cremation has taken place. A private family memorial will take place at Highland Memory Gardens at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Reynolds Funeral Home ‘Turner Chapel' of Bracebridge. Memorial donations in support of your local Royal Canadian Legion and its members, would be greatly appreciated by the family. Messages of condolence can be made at www.reynoldsfuneral.com
