William Ross Paul Watt born May 14th 1938, died peacefully on September 29th 2023 at South Muskoka Memorial Hospital surrounded by family.
Beloved husband to Betty Diane (Yeoman) Watt. Loved by daughters Paula (Larry), Beth (Steve) and Becky (Ted). Admired and adored by his grandchildren Julia and Aidan, Brittany and Jamie, Summer and Sam.
Ross was raised in Port Carling the youngest of four brothers. He grew up playing baseball, hockey and fishing. Ross maintained lifelong friendships in Port Carling and left only to get his education. He returned home after graduating from pharmacy at the University of Toronto. Shortly after he opened his first pharmacy in Bracebridge he met the love of his life Betty Yeoman. They were married in 1964. Between projects, of which he had many, they had three daughters. Ross enjoyed being on the school board, kinsman club, and was an elder and on the board of managers at Knox Presbyterian Church.
Ross shared a love of flying with his brother Tom — often seen and heard flying the Harvard over Bracebridge. Ross liked to golf with friends and spend time at the lake.
His love of Muskoka was only surpassed by his love of family.
The interment for Ross will beheld at the Bracebridge Municipal Cemetery on Thursday, October 5th 2023 at 2 PM. The Service will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church, 120 Taylor Rd, Bracebridge on Friday, October 6th at 1:30 PM with Rev.
