William Edward Land
It is with deep love and sadness that we announce the passing of William Edward Land, who left us on September 27, 2026, at Muskoka Hills Retirement Villa in Bracebridge, ON.
Beloved son of Frederick Christopher Land and Mary Frances Quigley, both predeceased. Cherished brother of John (late Katherine; Dawn Chew), Michael (Lise Gammon) of Sudbury, Steven (Laurie-Ann Reddick) of Elliot Lake, and Derek (Anne) of Dowling. Proud uncle to Maxwell, Cassandra, Jenna, Dillan, Ellissa, Mitchell, Kyle, Rhiannon, and Rachel.
Bill was an avid reader and collector who found immense joy in books. He had a generous heart, a sharp wit, and a humour that brought lightness to those around him.
He will be deeply missed by his four brothers, his extended family and by all who were fortunate enough to know him.
