Timothy Raymond Newlove

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Timothy Newlove, who passed away peacefully on September 30, 2026, at the age of 63. Timothy was born on November 10, 1962.

Tim will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Kathie (Spencer); his son, Jonathan Newlove; his daughter, Jessica Basso (Grant); and his cherished granddaughters, Audrey and Cecelia along with many extended family.

Tim spent his career as an Electrical Salesman, where he built lasting connections with those around him. Outside of work, he found great enjoyment in baseball, camping, his dogs, and, most of all, spending time with his family.

For 14 years, Tim bravely faced the challenges of kidney disease, lung disease and cancer. Throughout those years, he showed incredible strength, courage, and determination. Despite the difficulties he faced, Tim continued to live life on his own terms and to find joy in the people and things he loved.

Tim loved spending time with his many friends and family, sharing laughs and making memories. He was often the life of the party, bringing his energy, humour, and enthusiasm wherever he went. On most weekend mornings, you could find Tim happily blaring his favourite music and videos, filling the house with his unmistakable personality and reminding everyone around him to enjoy the moment.

Tim was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. His love for his family, his sense of humour, and his ability to make people laugh will be deeply missed. The countless memories he created with those he loved will remain in their hearts forever.

The family will welcome family and friends at a Celebration of Life on Saturday, November 14, 2026 from 1-4pm at the Bracebridge Legion (168 Muskoka Rd., Bracebridge, ON). In lieu of flowers, donations to the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated.

Tim will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
