Thomas Blanchard

Thomas Blanchard - Tom passed away peacefully at The Pines, in Bracebridge, on Saturday, August 3rd, 2019. He was born August 21,1924, in Bracebridge, to Henry and Kathleen Blanchard. On April 6,1974 he married Marion Goddard. Tom was a life member of the Bracebridge Agricultural Society. He was also a member of the Bracebridge Royal Canadian Legion and the Muskoka Lodge 360.  Tom was the youngest in his family. He was predeceased by his siblings Ambrose, William, Harold, Marie, Craig, and Audrey Vincent. He is survived by his sister-in-law Ruth Blanchard. He also leaves many nieces, nephews and cousins.  At Tom's request no formal Funeral or Celebration of Life service will be held. Cremation has taken place and a burial will be held at Bracebridge Municipal Cemetery on Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at 2:00 PM. Thank you to the wonderful staff at the Pines who have looked after Tom for the past five and a half years, especially to those who cared for him in his final weeks of life.
