Thelma Simmons Bennett

Thelma Pearl Simmons Bennett died peacefully in her sleep at The Pines Long Term Care Residence on Tuesday June 14th 2022 in her 94th year . Predeceased by her first husband Russell Simmons and second husband William Bennett.  Loving mother of Nathan and daughter-in-law Deborah Simmons . Dear sister of Hilton (Harry ) predeceased by her brothers Clarence , Bob , Bill , Roger and sister Donna . Dear aunt to many nieces and nephews.  Thelma had a great love of all animals big and small . One of her favourite pass time was feeding the birds and chipmunks. She loved to garden, cooking not so much.  She was kind hearted and generous to all .  Her most treasured relationship was the one she shared with her God, Jehovah. Her deep rooted faith in the Bible's promises gave her a hope that she treasured and shared with others.

Cremation has taken place . A private family service will be held at a later date .
