Susan Nelan

It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Susan Jane (Anderson) Nelan on November 7th, 2023 at South Muskoka Memorial Hospital.

Susan was born in Etobicoke on April 29th, 1953 to Gordon and Kay Anderson. Susan moved to Bracebridge in 1977. She was a proud member of the Muskoka nursing community, Girl Guide Leader and volunteer. She loved camping and canoeing, spending time with friends and family, and cottaging on Wood Lake. She was an avid reader of mystery novels and loved visiting the Bracebridge Public Library.

Susan is survived by her daughters Ailene and Lindsay (Nathan), grandchildren Katie & Keegan,  her brother Craig (Kate), nephews Chris (Krystle) and Kyle, ex-husband Andy Nelan (Karen), step mother Margaret Anderson and lifelong bestfriend Sue Swaine (Tourgis).

Susan's memory lives on in the laughter and stories shared with friends and family over a cup of coffee or tea.
