Stanley Edwin Walter Janke

Stan Janke passed on January 28, 2025 at his home in Bracebridge, Ontario. Beloved husband of Arlene and father of Michael (Amanda), Mark (Cathy) and Michelle (Mike). Grandfather to Nathan, Aalyah, Zoe, Brooklyn, Jaxson and Carter. Survived by his sister Bev (Danny), brothers Jimmy (Irene), predeceased by Donnie. 

In life, Stan enjoyed coaching his children in hockey, baseball and running local youth bowling leagues. He was an avid gardener who grew vegetables, flowers, and loved to have a beer (or two) while watching the Toronto Blue Jays & Toronto Maple Leafs.

There will be no service or visitation as per his request.  He will be laid to rest beside his wife of 47 years Arlene Janke (1946 - 2020) at the Bracebridge Memorial Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to The Children’s Foundation of Muskoka https://www.childrenofmuskoka.com/donations/ would be appreciated by Stan’s family.
