ENGLISH, Ruth Hazel - Ruth passed away peacefully Saturday January the 5th, 2019 at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in her 83rd year. After a courageous battle with cancer, Ruth is in heaven with the Lord. Beloved wife to the late Michael English. Ruth will be fondly remembered as the caring mother of Ron English of Ajax and Elaine Rodeck (Bruce) of Denver, Colorado. Sister to Marilyn Dawson, Paul Smythe, June Saunders (deceased), Ross Smythe (deceased), and Elizabeth (Betsy) Stewart (deceased). Daughter to the late Dimitri and Grace Smythe of Toronto. A Celebration of Ruth's life will be held at Bayview Glen Church Saturday February 9th, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Another celebration of life will be held in Bracebridge for friends in Muskoka, Details are forthcoming.
