It is with great sadness that the family of Russell James Alexander Barr announce his sudden passing on the morning Saturday, May 28, 2022. Born June 6, 1934 in Lucknow, ON.
Father, engineer, poet, painter... talents admired by many. Russ was predeceased by his Canadian wife Barbara and his South African wife Trixie and is survived by son Darrell (Lesley), daughters Cynthia (Garreth), Jane (Greg), and Katie (Kevin), 4 granddaughters and 4 grandsons.
A celebration of Life will be held at Reynolds Funeral Home, 1 Mary Street, Bracebridge on Monday, June 6th at 1 p.m. Followed by lunch and storytelling at Kevin and Katie's home in Bracebridge.
