Robert 'Bob' Coyne

Passed away peacefully on February 15, 2022, in Bracebridge.  He is survived by his two children, Shannon and Ryan, and nine grandchildren Ella, Christopher, Grace, Ruby, Nicole, Heidi, Timothy, Samuel, and Lily.

A loving father and doting grandfather, he never missed an opportunity to spoil those he loved with gifts from Lee Valley or to sing happy birthday perfectly out of tune.

His unwavering support for his children and grandchildren made him the solid foundation of the entire family.

Born in Toronto to John and Lela Coyne, Bob was the youngest of 6 children.  An avid golfer and bowler, Bob spent his career as a public-school teacher in Scarborough.  After retirement, Bob moved to Bracebridge where he spent the remainder of his years golfing and enjoying watching his grandkids swimming in the Muskoka River.

At Bob’s request there will not be a memorial service. Cremation has already taken place. He asked that anyone interested raise a glass and celebrate what you have to be grateful for.
