MURPHY, Phillip David (Dave)

Dave Murphy passed away peacefully at Mount Sinai Hospital on Wednesday, December 10th, in his 65th year.

Loving son of Phillip and Adele Murphy (Predeceased). Dave was born in Moncton, New Brunswick.

Dave is survived by his son, Bradley Murphy (Sarah), and grandson, Kevin, his partner, Kim Neville and her grandson Justice. Remembered by his extended family, including his partners children Kandice, Allan, Julia, Christopher and their families. Dave is also survived by his sister, Carolyn (Jon predeceased), niece Nicole Mulkey (Brady) and brother John Murphy (Laurie) nieces Julia, Lauren, and Alicia.

Dave loved spending time at the hunt camp in Vankoughnet—whether during moose season, work parties, four-wheeling, snowmobiling, or simply gathering with family and friends. He also looked forward to the yearly fishing tournaments he shared with friends and enjoyed boating along the Muskoka River to visit with those he cared about.

A proud member of the Bracebridge Legion, Dave could often be found on Saturday afternoons at the Legion meat roll. Above all, Dave cherished time spent with family and friends whenever he had the chance.
