Patricia Margaret Regina Cain

On April 6, 2026, Patricia “Pat” Cain passed peacefully at the West Parry Sound Health Centre at the age of 80, surrounded by a lifetime of love and memories.

Pat was the devoted and cherished wife of Garry, with whom she shared 63 wonderful years of marriage. Together they built a life grounded in family, laughter, and steadfast support. She was a proud and loving mother to Terri (Dave), Rick (Sue) and Brad (Tina), and her greatest joy was her family. Pat was an adored grandmother to Ashley, Alana, Caitlin, Cassandra, Nicole, Joshua, Mark and Spencer, and a treasured great‑grandmother to Nicholas, Theo and August, each of whom brought immense happiness to her life.

Known fondly as the quintessential hockey mom and wife, Pat spent countless weekends and summers cheering from the sidelines and camping with her family. In 1986, Pat and Garry became cottagers on Three Mile Lake, a place that would grow deeply dear to her heart. When she later became a full‑time resident, Pat embraced the community fully, giving her time and care as a volunteer at Watt Public School, Huntsville District Memorial Hospital and through the Women’s Institute, where she formed many lasting friendships.

Pat will be remembered for her quiet strength, generous spirit and unwavering devotion to those she loved. Her warmth and kindness touched many lives, and her presence will be deeply missed. Pat's love lives on in the family she cherished, the friendships she nurtured and the many lives made better by her quiet kindness.

Cremation has taken place, and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. In Pat’s memory, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
