It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Murial Jean (GiGi) on Monday, August 13, 2018 at the age of 92 at South Muskoka Memorial Hospital in Bracebridge. Loving wife of Owen Switzer for 71 years. Beloved mother of Glenn (Mary), Gary (Kathy), Sandra (Peter) and Karen. Cherished grandmother of Michael, Kevin, Cara, Stephen, Todd, Greg and Wendy and great grandmother of Owen, Aidan, Nico, Ivan and Owen. She was a remarkable women who was adored and will be missed and will live forever in the hearts of all who knew her. Jean will be remembered for her passion to dance, cook and shop. She called home to several places but her most favorite place was Tipperary Cottage with family and friends. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday September 1st, 2018 from 2-5 p.m. at Tipperary Cottage. As your expressions of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation. Arrangements entrusted to Reynolds Funeral Home in Bracebridge.
