Muriel Hind

Hind, Muriel Jean (nee McWhinnie) 1925 - 2017. On 10th August, 2017, after a full life, our mother peacefully passed away at the age of 91. Beloved wife of William Duncan Hind for 67 years who passed away in 2014. Loving mother to three daughters, Connie (Ken), Judy and Karen (deceased 2016), three granddaughters, Rachel, Erin and Kelly (Eric) two great grandchildren Cody and Priya, a new grandchild on the way and many nieces and nephews. Our mother was born and raised in Windsor Ontario. It was there she met her beloved William at the age of 16. They were married in 1947 and continued to live in Windsor raising us. In 1964 our dad who worked for Air Canada was transferred to Mississauga, Ontario where they lived in Lorne Park while we went to school. Once we all left home, they decided to move to Bracebridge Ontario where they built their dream home and made a new life for themselves. They spent many days out on Lake Muskoka, golfing at South Muskoka Golf course, entertaining friends and travelling the world, often returning to Windsor to visit family and friends. Cremation has taken place. We would like to thank the staff at The Pines Nursing home in Bracebridge for the wonderful care they gave her over the past 8 years.
