Mervin H. Page

On Saturday, February 14, 2026, Mervin H. Page passed away peacefully in Bracebridge at the age of 89.

Beloved husband of the late Connie Page. Cherished father of Donnie Page (Terry) and Kevin Page (Brenda). Loving brother of Irene Toffin. Proud grandfather of Nicole Page, Jacob Page, Sabrina Page, and Kevin Page, and great-grandfather to five. He was also a great-great-grandfather to one granddaughter.

Merv loved to keep busy. He was a hardworking man who could putter and fix almost anything. He spent many years in road construction and generously shared his extensive knowledge of heavy equipment, continuing to work right up until his 88th year.

Staying connected with family and friends meant everything to him. He enjoyed his coffee visits, shared meals, and time spent with the many friends he made over the years. He was an avid dart player and valued the close circle of friends he played alongside.

No matter the time of day or what he had on the go, if someone needed help, Merv was there.

He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed. Say hi to Mom.

Visitation will be held at Reynolds Funeral Home on Friday, February 20 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm, and again on Saturday, February 21 from 11am until the time of the service in the Chapel at 12pm. Private cremation will follow at a later date. A luncheon will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion - Branch 161, from 1-3pm following the service.  

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke and Foundation.
