Marlene Ann Terry (nee Insley)
1953-2021
It is with great sadness the family of Marlene Ann Terry announces her sudden passing after a brief illness. She spent her last days in the care of Algonquin Grace Hospice in Huntsville surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Toronto in 1953 she spent her summers in Bracebridge and moved there with her parents as a teenager. She attended Bracebridge and Muskoka Lakes Secondary School and backpacked across Europe after graduation.
Marlene was employed by Harry Hawthorn in his Insurance Adjusting service until his retirement and spent the remainder of her career in the insurance business.
In 1983 she married Wayne Terry and they were married 38 years. She will forever be in the hearts of her family.
Predeceased by her parents Bella and Robert Insley. She leaves behind her husband Wayne, children Christine and Kenneth and cherished grandson Kaleb.
Also grieving her loss are brother Fred Insley (Cathy) of Niagara Falls, sister in laws Janice Hummell (John), Cheryl Hammond (Jim) Debbie Parker (John) and many nieces and nephews and friends.
Donations are being made to Algonquin Grace Hospice in Huntsville.
Interment of Ashes is set to take place on Saturday, June 19, 2021, at Ufford Cemetery, Muskoka Lakes at 10am. Due to updated Covid restrictions, 50 people are able to attend, however guests who plan on attending must RSVP below.
