Margaret 'Peggy' Helen Tupper

On Sunday February 15th, 2026 Margaret Helen Tupper, known by most as Peggy, passed away at South Muskoka Memorial Hospital at the age of 78.

She is survived by her daughters, Jennifer Anne Williamson and Jacquelin Elizabeth Tupper; as well as her beloved grandchildren Lucas and Jessica Williamson. She leaves behind siblings Henry Joseph Tupper, Emily Rose Phillips, Shirley Carol Barnett, Mary Frances Tupper.

Throughout her career Peggy was a sought after pioneer in the field of computer science. She was a lively participant in the latin dance scene of Toronto regularly dancing the night away and always instilled a love of dance into her children.

For generations to come we will cherish the genealogical database that she was able to curate over several years. Her filled out genealogical tree showcases over 400 years of our family history.

Peggy spent much of her life working tirelessly towards improving each and every community she lived in with local initiatives and community events. In recent years she was proudly an active member of the Rotary Club of Bracebridge, regularly volunteering at community events and weighing in on proposed projects.

Peggy always had advice to share for those in need of it, she will be greatly missed.

A Celebration of life will take place on May 16th as Peggy always preferred the spring. The Service will take place at Reynolds Funeral Home.
