Born on November 22, 1946 Linda Hawes died peacefully with her family by her side on Sunday, September 13, 2020 at the South Muskoka Memorial Hospital in her 74th year.
She was a mother of 3 (Tyler, Leanna, Chris). A grandmother to 8 (Kieran, Devynn, Ashley, Summer, Davis, Noah, Austin, Jaden). A great grandmother to 4 (Brayden, Hunter, Caylee, Levi). She was a sister to 3 (Pat, Paul, David) an aunt of 2 (Brianna and Matt) and a great aunt to 3 (Brandi, Nathan, Chloe). Although many thought of her as an "adopted" grandmother/aunt as she was loved by many.
While Linda enjoyed living on her own she enjoyed gardening with friends and watching the humming birds and also feeding the Blue Jays peanuts on her balcony. While sitting on her balcony she was always knitting and crocheting anything and everything from clothing to Christmas ornaments.
Linda was loved by many and will be missed by many but never forgotten. A celebration of life will come at a later date in the springtime.
