Kirk Michael Dillon

Kirk Michael Dillon, March 24, 1986 -September 29 2023, born in Guelph and raised in Hespeler, he embarked on a journey that led him to various locations and allowed him to forge meaningful connections with people along the way. He was a beloved son, a loving brother, a cherished father, an honoured uncle, and a good friend to all. The news of his passing has brought immense sadness to all who knew him.

Kirk leaves behind his mother, Kathie Dillon, his sister Krystle Dillon, his brother Shayne Kirkham, his daughter Abigail Lajoie, and his nieces Sophia and Jamie-Lee. His most favourite pastime was spending time with his daughter Abigail and made it a priority regardless of the activity at hand. Additionally, Kirk took great pride in nurturing a special bond with his two nieces. All three girls meant the world to him and will undoubtedly feel the void left by his absence.

In his professional life as a welder/fabricator, Kirk was creative and passionate about his career. He took great pride in his job and built an enthusiastic relationship with his coworkers. 

Kirk would often keep busy, when he wasn't napping on the couch. Kirk could be found outdoors engaging in activities that brought him immense happiness. Tinkering in woodwork projects, finding something to clean up, BBQ'ing and preparing food, or just simply getting together with his neighbours for a cold one. 

He had a love and passion for all things outdoors regardless of the season. Fishing, fires, swimming at the beach, collecting rocks for keepsake, just to name a few. 

Kirk will be remembered for his love for the holidays. He wholeheartedly embraced the opportunity for decorating, cooking, celebrating and making memories with family and friends. He loved to entertain and make those around him laugh.

Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at the Homewood Suites by Hilton in Cambridge, Ontario, on Saturday, November 11th from 2-9 pm. All are welcome to share stories and our memories of Kirk.
