VIBERT, Joyce Bryden (formerly Johnston) (nee Hornby) Joyce passed away at the South Muskoka Memorial Hospital, on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at age 91. Beloved wife of John Vibert of Bracebridge and the late Arden Johnston. Loving mother of Vicki Johnston (Jim Marsh), Cindy MacDonald (Wayne MacDonald) and the late Glenn Johnston. Step-mother to Matthew, Chris, Wesley, Gail, Lindsay, and the late Gary. Proud grandmother of Daniel (Jason), Eric (Kirsten), Holly (Steve), Hartley, Spencer, Jordan, Will, Shayne, Cole, Adam, and Garett. Great grandmother of Dakota, Scott, Stephanie, Johnathan & Amayah. Dear sister of the late Norma Borrett and Wyndham Hornby. Joyce loved to recall stories of a happy childhood and of her travels. She followed her goa of having a laugh every day, and to remain in her beloved home. Our family would like to express our gratitude for the compassionate palliative care provided to her at her home and Hospital. Thank you to Dr. Keith Cross, CCAC, Dr. Irvine and emergency nurses, ambulance personnel and her very special caregivers, Rhea & Cindy from Care Partners, Jan & Vicky from Para Med.
