We are sad to announce the passing of Joyanne Mary Paget (Pelissero) at the age of 78, on April 27, 2023 at Andy’s House hospice.  Joyanne was predeceased by her parents Albert and Emily Pelissero, as well as two of her sisters, Elsie Enrico and Ida Bailey.  She is survived by her sister Rosie Cook, several nieces and nephews, and many cherished friends, including her ex-husband John Paget.  Joyanne was a dedicated teacher for 34 years, teaching throughout Muskoka as well as in Bramalea & Brampton. After retiring, she could be found either out on the golf course or at home busy baking or cooking for church gatherings or for her family and friends.  Her pets held a special place in her heart (& on her couch).  As per Joyanne’s wishes, cremation has taken place.  There will be a memorial visitation on June 1, 2023 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Bracebridge at 10:00 am, followed by a Memorial Mass at 11:00 am.  Interment to follow.  Joyanne’s request was that any memorial donations be made to OSPCA Bracebridge https://ontariospca.ca/muskoka/or Huntsville.
