John Keating

John Ronald Keating died peacefully at the South Muskoka Memorial Hospital in Bracebridge on Saturday, March 30th, 2019 at the age of 67. Dear father of Kelly Keating (Roy Chapman) and Amanda Keating. Loving grandfather of Gavin Chapman, Landon and Mercy. Brother of Marie Hawkins, Marjorie Cote (Ray Cote), Michael Keating, Victor Keating and Gord Keating. Uncle to many nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by his best friend Laura, his friends and co-workers at The Cast Iron Restaurant and everyone in his little village of Baysville. He had the biggest heart and would be the first person to help anyone (even if they were a leafs fan). He was a die hard Habs fan. He has now gone fishing for eternity with unlimited Coors Light. A celebration of his life will be announced at a later date. As your expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the Baysville Lion's Club or the Baysville Community Group.
