John Joseph Hartill

John Joseph Hartill died peacefully on Sunday, August 11, 2024 at South Muskoka Hospital, Bracebridge in his 88th year.

 Beloved husband of Sandra Hartill. He was a devoted father to Colin (Joanne), Marci (Mark) and Kim. Loving Grandpa to Keira, Quinn, Emily, Adam, Christianna (Kristina) and Brittany (Scott). Great Grandpa to Nate, Emma and Bennett. Sadly, he didn’t get to meet Elloise who was born on August 20, 2024.

 John was born on February 27,1936 in Toronto to Dorothy(predeceased) and Stanley Hartill(predeceased) and was the older brother to Jim (predeceased).

 Family came first in his life. John was an extremely kind, humorous man and loved by everyone who knew him.

 He really enjoyed his numerous volunteer activities with the Bracebridge United Church, South Muskoka Hospital, Meals on Wheels, Manna Food Bank and Monck Public School Kids Breakfast.

 Cremation has taken place and there will be a Celebration of Life in 2025.
