John Brian Foubert

It is with heavy hearts and deep love that we announce the passing of John Brian Foubert, 73 years of age, on Sunday, June 6th, 2026.

John was born October 15, 1952, in Hamilton, Ontario, the loving son of Mae and Dennis Foubert.

John will be truly missed by his children, Kristen and Bryan, and will be greatly missed by his grandchildren, Ayden and Jayse.

John was known for his quick wit and love for life. He was always proud of the fact that he got to travel throughout Canada putting in gas lines. Sports were one of John’s greatest passions. For years, he played baseball and went on to coach his son’s young hockey career. While basketball was his true love, he always felt that he was “a foot too short and the wrong colour.”

John’s legacy of humour, infectious laughter, and love will continue on in his family and friends.

Visitation will take place at Reynolds Funeral Home, on Wednesday, June 17th from 2-4pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Children’s Foundation of Muskoka would be appreciated.
