Joe McGuire

We are sad to announce the passing of Joseph John McGuire, at Lake Ridge Health in Oshawa on Jan. 10th/24, at the age of 64.  At his request there will be no funeral. He leaves behind his best friend Sandra McGuire (wife of 36 years), son Josh (Shari & family), daughter Deborah (Brock & family), and three beautiful grandchildren, Mya, Joey and Kiara-Rose.  He is predeceased by his parents (Joe and Irene), sister Debbie Lalonde, brother Billy, and brother in law Rick Tomassini.  Survived by brothers Norm, Frank and Dawna, sisters Chrissy Tomassini, Kim and Brian, brother in law Dave Lalonde, and many nieces and nephews.                                                   

Joe was a hard working man who loved his family. He enjoyed listening and singing to Elvis Presley, dancing, hockey, swimming, traveling, trips to the casino and animals. He enjoyed camping at Muskoka Glens Campground while his children were young. He enjoyed the pot luck dinners, horseshoe tournaments, looking after the Kids Fishing Derby, and all the gatherings with family and friends over campfires.
