Jerry James Moroz

With great sadness, we announce the sudden passing of Jerry, 85 years, on September 8, 2023.  Born in Windsor and moved the family to Bracebridge in 1975 to be plant manager of Rockwell Automotive Parts Plant (later known as Dura).   He was a member of the Rotary Club and did his fair share of selling raffle tickets for the club.  Aside from Rotary, he sat on several boards and committees for charities and nonprofits.  Bracebridge Hydro and continued on when it became Lakeland Power, Georgian College, South Muskoka Memorial Hospital, Town of Bracebridge Recreation Capital Fund Foundation, and Bracebridge Recognition Awards Committee to name a few.

He leaves to grieve, his dear wife Anne of 65 years married. Cherished father to Janet (Mike), Suzanne (Sam), and Jennifer. Dear grandfather to Kristin (Jordan), Jeffery (Jen), Matthew (Natalie), Elyssa, Christine (Tyrel), and Michael add to that 6 great-grandchildren. Son of Hattie and Constantine Moroz and is predeceased by his siblings: Bernard, Isabelle, William, Edward, and Sam.

Funeral Mass will take place at St. Joseph Catholic Church on October 14, 2023, at 11:00 am with visitation at noon along with a lunch reception.
