Jean Specht

SPECHT, Jean Anne (Former owner of the Holiday Shop and Journalist - known for "Jean's Jottings") peacefully at the Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare - SMMH Site, Bracebridge on Monday, July 28, 2008 at the age of 85. Beloved wife of the late Louis H. Specht and dear mother of Doug Specht (Margo) of Bracebridge, Robyn Specht Kilroy (Robin) of Bracebridge and Deborah Ouimet (Bill) of Sointula, B.C., and the late Richard Specht at the age of twenty-four. Loving grandmother of Carrie McCoy, Devon Specht, Amanda Specht and Mikayla Specht-Ponto and great-grandmother of Dezmond Parker and Liam McCoy. Jean is also survived by brother William MacAskill of Bracebridge, Barbara Heathcote of Don Mills and Joan Groh of Pickering. At Jean's request, cremation has taken place.
