James Howie Glass

It is with deep sadness that our family announces the passing of James Howie Glass, after struggling with a terminal illness, he passed away peacefully at South Muskoka Memorial Hospital on September 21 in his 68th year. 

He is survived by his daughter, Markie Glass; his son, Clayton Glass; step-daughter, Mellissa Lafayette; his 2 sisters, Joanne Glass, and Catherine Stutt; and brother-in-law Darryl Stutt. Predeceased by his parents Aubrey and Marie Glass.

"Howie" spent his career as a Stone Mason, in which he was very talented and respected. He could be quite a character at times, and I'm sure that those who knew him have many stories to remember him by!

We wish to thank all of the staff at South Muskoka Memorial Hospital who helped to make his last days comfortable and for their kindness to our family who spent many hours at the hospital.

We also wish to thank everyone who helped us with moral support during this difficult time.
