James Grant Britton

Grant Britton died peacefully on September 29th at the Pines in Bracebridge at the age of 89, surrounded by family. Beloved spouse to Margaret Britton (Sturgeon) for the last 65 years. Amazing father to Jennifer Britton (Andray) and Katherine Britton (Blake), of Glade. Dear “BABA”/Grandfather to Matthew Britton-Whyte. Grant was well known as Britton’s Pharmacy servicing generations as the pharmacist on Mount Pleasant Road in Toronto. He got a great start to life as a student at Upper Canada College. He enjoyed every summer at the cottage in Muskoka.

Memorial donations to the Cancer Society or the Coulson Hill Cemetery Fund in lieu of flowers.

A visitation will be held on October 3, 2024, from 10 am to 11 am, followed by the Funeral Service at 11 am at Reynolds Funeral Home on 1 Mary Street, Bracebridge, Ontario. Grant will be laid to rest at 2 pm at Coulson's Hill Cemetery in Bradford, Ontario.
