Ida passed away peacefully at home with family by her side on July 8th, 2022, in her 90th year. Daughter of Albert Pelissero and Emily Chiappero. She was predeceased by her loving husband Colin Bailey (deceased 1984).

Ida was the loving mother of her late son, John Bailey (Cindy) (deceased 2012), as well as her daughter, Debbie Hickoff (Scott), Tim Bailey, and Linda Bailey (Bryan). She was also the loving Grandmother of Melody Bailey, Alicia Bailey, and Emma Bailey, as well as the Great Grandmother to Alysa and Damian Goodman.

She leaves behind her sisters Rosie Cook (Gerald) and Joyanne Pelissero to rejoin her sister Elsie Enrico (deceased 2015). Ida was well loved and will be missed by her many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

She would like to thank Geri for the excellent care she provided, Connor from community paramedic service, Heather Maxwell from closing the gap, the ambulance service, as well as all the staff at SMMH and the palliative care team at Community Care. We would also like to thank her Pall Bearers: Adam Veitch, Dave Veitch, Matt Bailey, Bill Ruttan, Kevin Ruttan, and Ross McKinnon.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, July 15th, at 11am at Reynolds in Bracebridge. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Muskoka OSPCA would be greatly appreciated and can be arranged through Reynolds Funeral Home.
