Died peacefully at the South Muskoka Memorial Hospital on December 13, 2019 at age 88. Beloved husband of Lisa of Bracebridge. Loving father of Peter. Proud Opi of Jason & Jeremy and Great Opi to Connor, Cole & Katerina. Helmut was a longtime realtor in Muskoka. He was also a member of Team Canada’s Triathlon Team. He will be missed by many people he had a friendly connection with. In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place. His ashes will be buried in Bracebridge in the spring.
