With heavy hearts and great Sadness, we announce the passing of Harold Gordon Simkin at soldiers' memorial hospital on May 5th, 2023

Pre-deceased by his parents Hazel Penney nee Garness, Simkin and Harold Simkin sr , stepfather

Alfred Penney. And his younger brother Glenn Simkin

Harold leaves behind the love of his life Barbara Simkin nee Fleming married for 56yrs.

Daughter Tanya Ball her husband Darcy sr Grandchildren Micaela, McIvor Darcy jr and Riley.

Step Grandfather to Alicia and Jessica, Step great grandfather to Logan and Colton.

Daughter Rachelle Simkin

Grandpa to Branden and Matthew.

Brother Don and wife Reta Simkin, sister-in-law Linda Simkin.

Stepsister Betty Foulkes nee Penney

Harold was an exceptionally talented Fine furniture Restorer owning a Refinishing business for many years before Retiring to Port Carling.

Harold was the life of the party when a gathering was called whether it was Thanksgiving, Christmas or a Birthday celebration Harold could be heard singing George Jones, Elvis or just letting out a yodel for everyone to hear!

Dad, I hope you know how much we love you and that you will be greatly missed by everyone that knew you, you will be forever in our hearts.

The amazing Physicians & Nurses that cared for Dad in the Emerge, ICU and up on the Floor, thank you for going above and beyond your kindness and professionalism will never be forgotten.

Cremation has taken place and a small celebration of life will take place at a later date.
