It’s with great sadness that the family of George Thomas Peacock, announce his passing on

August 16, 2023 at the Huntsville Hospital just shy of his 74th birthday. George is survived by his beloved wife Norine, his four children Glen, Tanya (Craig), Robbie (Jenna), Corey and adored Papa of Maddy, Kayley and McKenna; who he would share his pink mints and cheesies with.

He loved to watch old western movies (especially any with John Wayne) and tv shows like the Rockford Files. George was a huge sports fan; but mainly stuck to what he knew by playing and coaching both baseball and hockey. Whether he was on his snow machine in the winter, or his four wheeler during hunting season; George loved the outdoors and all the comradery that came with his family & friends.

Cremation has taken place with no formal service at this time. A celebration of life will take place on September 9 from 11 am to 2:00 pm at the Bracebridge Royal Canadian Legion: Branch 161. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to The Alzheimer's Society of Muskoka (https://alzheimer.ca/muskoka/en) or the OSPCA Muskoka Branch (https://ontariospca.ca/muskoka/)would be appreciated.
