George Brown

Member of 600 Squadron - R.A.F. Veteran of WWII Died peacefully at The Pines Long Term Care Centre, Bracebridge on Tuesday, December 11, 2012 in his 93rd year. Dear husband of the late Annie, who died November 4th, 2006. Much loved father of his sons Michael and Keith (Sandra); all of Burlington and his daughter Janice Wood (Harry) of Bracebridge. Dear grandfather of Shelby Brown (Devon) of Burlington, Mathew Brown of Hamilton, Geoffrey Wood (Susan) of Bracebridge and Sarah Brown of Fredericton, NB. Fondly remembered by his grandson-in-law Richard Brown of Gravenhurst. Proud great-grandfather of Dalton, Morgan and Brianna Wood, Evan and Emily Brown and Amelia Brown. In accordance with Mr. Brown's wishes cremation will take place and there will be an interment of his cremated remains at St. Thomas - Ullswater Cemetery in early Summer 2013. Memorial gifts in Mr. Brown's memory may be made to the Royal Canadian Legion Br. 161 Poppy Fund, 168 Muskoka Rd., Bracebridge. P1L 1H6
