Gary Ranstead

RANSTEAD, Gary William Gary Ranstead of Bracebridge formerly of Oshawa, died peacefully at South Muskoka Memorial Hospital, Bracebridge on Saturday, July 5th, 2008. Beloved husband of Eleanor Carter of Bracebridge and the late Louise-Anne Ranstead. Dear father of Sue Winacott (Mark) of Peterborough, Sharon Cassano (Frank) of Oshawa and Carol Ranstead (Jason Zabransky) of Mississauga. Step-father of Fred and Todd Orchard and Scott and Andy Carter. Loving "Gramps" of fourteen. Gary was predeceased by his father William Ranstead and will be sadly missed by his mother Beryl Ranstead and sister Bonnie Faber (Rudy) of Hampton and their children Heidi and John. At Gary's request, cremation has taken place. A gathering to celebrate Gary's life will be held at The Fairways of Kirrie Glen Golf Club, Hwy 118 W., Bracebridge, on Saturday July 12th from 2-4 p.m. For those wishing, memorial gifts to the South Muskoka Hospital Foundation, 75 Anne St., Bracebridge, ON P1L 2E4, would be welcomed by the family.
