Frances Lorraine Brown

Frances Lorraine Brown (Williams) died peacefully at Hospice Muskoka, Andy’s House, on May 16, 2024, at the age of 86. Beloved spouse of the late Robert Brown and treasured mother of Mary Collins (Ivan) and Diane Brown-Demarco.   Dear grandmother to Robert Collins (Sarah), Andrew Demarco (Bridget), and Carina Demarco.  Born and raised on Prince Edward Island, “Bob and Fran” enjoyed the military life, traveling, and seeing much of the world.  They spent many summers enjoying the ocean at their summer home on the island and winters in Florida golfing.  Greatest appreciation to the staff of Muskoka Hills Retirement Villa in Bracebridge who took care of Frances in her final year and to the staff of Hospice Muskoka at Andy’s House who cared for her and her family in her final weeks and ensured her most peaceful passing.  Cremation has taken place per her wishes and Frances will be interred at Beechwood National Military Cemetery in Ottawa next to her greatest love, Robert, on August 17, 2024.  Memorial donations to Hospice Muskoka, or the Canadian Mental Health Association Muskoka Parry Sound, or a charity of your choice are greatly appreciated.
