Jackson, Frances Geraldine (Cornish)
August 17, 1932 – December 28, 2025
With loving hearts, we share the peaceful passing of Frances “Fran” Jackson, who gently left this world at the age of 93 at Andy’s House.
Fran is now reunited with her beloved husband, Bruce Jackson; whom she missed deeply and who predeceased her in 2010. Their love story, rooted in devotion and partnership, continues beyond this life.
She will be forever cherished by her sons, Dave (Laura), Jim (Gail), Gary (Tracy), and Richard, and lovingly remembered by her grandchildren: Brett (Nicole), Ashley (Jay), Brad (Rose), Michelle (Curtis), Chad (Kayla), Katelynn (Zvonimir), and Rebecca (Adrian). Fran’s heart overflowed with joy for her great-grandchildren: Kellen, Ethan, Shae, Kensi, Camden, and Sven - each of whom brought her immeasurable happiness and pride.
Fran was predeceased by her sister Ruth in May 2025 and is survived by her sister Catherine (Andy), along with many extended family members and dear lifelong friends who will miss her gentle presence and kind spirit.
Fran and Bruce were married in 1954 in Toronto, Ontario, and in 1957 they settled in Muskoka, where they lovingly raised their four boys on their farm in Purbrook for 30 years before later moving to Kilworthy. Fran dedicated 30 years of service as the secretary at Muskoka Falls Public School, retiring in 1997. Through her work, she touched countless young lives with her warmth, patience, and quiet care.
Together, Fran and Bruce shared many simple joys - especially evenings spent playing cards with friends, filled with laughter, stories, and companionship. They also shared a deep love for their Welsh Ponies, proudly raising and caring for them and traveling to fall fairs, community events, the CNE, and the Royal Winter Fair, where they showcased their ponies with great pride and joy.
As per Fran’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and there will be no celebration of life. Her memory lives on in the hearts of those who loved her, in the family she nurtured, and in the many lives she quietly and lovingly touched.
