With heavy hearts and deep gratitude for a life so fully and uniquely lived, we share the peaceful passing of Elizabeth Snow, who left us at Andy’s House surrounded by love, care, and deep compassion. Born on May 14, 1961, in the beautiful province of Nova Scotia, Liz's journey through life was one of resilience, joy, and unmistakable spirit. She joined Community Living in 2007, and from the moment she arrived, she truly thrived — bringing light, laughter, and unmistakable presence to everyone around her. To know Liz was to know someone who lived authentically, unapologetically, and with a spark that couldn’t be dimmed. Whether it was her daily joy in muffins or the playful delight she found in her collection of smiley balls, Liz embraced the small pleasures of life with a contagious enthusiasm. She was spunky and spirited, sometimes spicy, always genuine. Her energy filled every room she entered. Liz didn’t just arrive — she announced herself, and you couldn’t help but notice. She had a magnetic presence that pulled people in and made them laugh, think, and feel more deeply. Though she faced health challenges in the last year, Liz showed the same resilience she had all her life — bouncing back time and time again with courage and grace. Liz leaves behind a community that was forever changed by her presence — caregivers, friends, and staff who became like family. She was truly one of a kind, and her absence will be deeply felt in the hearts of all who knew her.
Elizabeth Snow lived boldly and beautifully. She will be remembered with love, admiration, and more than a few smiles — just the way she would have wanted.
Rest peacefully, dear Liz. Your light continues to shine in every muffin shared, every smiley ball bounced, and every story told in your memory.
