Elizabeth Ellen Taylor (née White)

August 12, 1966 – July 19, 2026

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Elizabeth “Beth” Taylor, who passed away on July 19, 2026, at the age of 59. Beth courageously battled a second cancer diagnosis that came unexpectedly.

Beth was the beloved wife of Glenn Taylor. Loving sister of Bruce (Nancy). Treasured aunt to Scott. Cherished daughter of the late Ivan and Ellen White. Caring stepmother to Michelle (Garrett) and proud Grandma to Bryson and Jace.

Beth will be deeply missed by her many family members, friends, and co-workers.

Beth worked many years for Red Cross, as well as over 20 years at James Street Place. She loved line dancing, country music, spending time with family and friends, and adored her beloved cat, Ted.

Beth fondly spoke of her days caring and working with all the residents and co-workers she made memories with.

A Celebration of Beth’s Life will be held on Saturday, August 15th, from 1-4pm at the Bracebridge Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 161.

If desired, memorial donations may be made to Bracebridge Royal Canadian Legion Branch 161 - Poppy Fund, Diabetes Canada, or the Canadian Cancer Society.
