Elena De Fabrizio

At Andy’s House on September 18, 2023, Elena De Fabrizio passed away at the age of 93. She was born in Italy on April 11, 1930, and later moved to Belgium and then Canada with her husband, Joseph De Fabrizio. Elena leaves behind her children, Tony (Ulla), Lou, Frank, George, Robert (Mila), John (Christa), and Lucy (Doug), as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Reynolds Funeral Home on Friday, September 29 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St Joseph’s Catholic Church in Bracebridge on Saturday, September 30 at 11:00 am. After the mass, interment will take place at St Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery, followed by a reception back at the church.

Those who met Elena, knew of her large heart and giving nature. She was hospitable to anyone who visited the house, feeding and over-feeding them until they could eat no more.
