Debra Ann Dane

On June 25, 2026, Debra Ann Dane passed unexpectedly at home at the age of 70. Born in Toronto on May 13, 1956, she lived there until 2009, when she moved to MacTier to be closer to her daughter’s family. Debra spent her life walking a path uniquely her own. She wasn’t one for crowds or fuss, but she was fiercely independent and unapologetically herself. She cared deeply about her family and her circle of friends, which was small by choice.

She is now reunited with her parents, Dorothy and Charles “Gord” Dane, and her brother‑in‑law, Lanny Robb. She is survived by her loving daughter, Jennifer Martin, and her grandson, Casey, who she was immensely proud of. She is also survived by her sister, Brenda Robb—her favourite travel companion—her niece Lesley (John), great‑nephew Aidan, her nephew Darren, great‑nephew Liam, and many cousins. Each of them will miss her dearly and will carry a piece of her story forever.

There will be no service at this time. Details will be shared at a later date for a Celebration of Life to honour her. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
