Christine Magdalene Agnes Thatcher died peacefully at Huntsville District Hospital, on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Joe Thatcher. Loving mother of Susan Sprague (David) and Elaine Litwin. Cherished grandmother of Madelaine and Carl Litwin, and great-grandmother of Annamarie and RuthAnn Litwin-Smith. Precious daughter of the late Eric and Magdalene Sopora. Dear sister of Klaus (Jacqueline), the late Herbert (Ursula), and the late Ernst (Hilda). Tante Christa to Michael (Joanne), Steven (Katrina), Claudia, Martha (Craig), Christine (John), and Eric. Great-aunt of Emma and Sarah Chin-Sopora, and Griffin and Logan Sopora-Gordon. A Memorial Service will be held at the Reynolds Funeral Home in Bracebridge on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at 2:30 pm, followed by a Celebration of Life reception at the Sprague residence.
