Catherine Turner

TURNER, Catherine (Cathie/Kate) Cathie passed away suddenly on 28th May 2018 at South Muskoka Memorial Hospital in the loving company of her devoted friends Jayne, Paul, Audrey and Carol. Cathie was born in Kirkcaldy, Scotland the only daughter of Jean and David Turner and came to live and work in Bracebridge as a nurse with her friend Anne Kirkness (nee McIntosh) around 55 years ago. Cathie is survived by her brother William (Bill) and his wife Jean. She was a loving sister to her late brother David (Dave) and a loving and devoted Aunt to Ann, Jane & David. She adored her great nephews and nieces Mark, Anthony, Karen, Lewis, Lisa, Vicki and Rachael and was also a loving great, great Aunt to Dylan, Zack & Seth. Cathie's life in Bracebridge revolved around her many friends whom she loved to spend time with. She enjoyed Christmas and New Year holidays with her wonderful friends Jayne, Paul and their family and with Audrey and Larry who were a great support to Cathie during her time in Bracebridge. Cathie will be sadly missed by her many friends in Bracebridge and her loving family and friends in Scotland. The memorial funeral service will take place on Monday 11th June at 11am at Reynolds Funeral Home Turner Chapel in Bracebridge followed by a reception in Browning Hall.
